Paul was excellent — friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Northern Ireland. He took us to the Giant’s Causeway, around Belfast, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, and added great local context throughout the day. The trip was comfortable, well organized, and easy from start to finish. I’d happily recommend him for private tours or chauffeur services.

What a fantastic day! Paul arrived early, shared the plan for the day and off we went. Paul’s knowledge of history and geography as well as his stories really brought our trip to life. The sites we saw were spectacular and more so due to Paul’s knowledge, his care, and his friendly demeanor. We had many laughs! We will be back

We had a wonderful day with Paul traveling around County Down, the county of my birth, as I was born in Newtownards. We stopped at Scrabo Tower to see the incredible views then headed southward for a quick stop at Black Abbey, which Paul added in at my request. When then drove along Strangford Lough, incredible scenery, to Portaferry where we took the ferry to Strangford, always a fun experience on a ferry. We stopped at Castle Ward and had a look at the main house and had a drive through a section of the Tollymore Forest. Game of Thrones was shot in and around both these areas. We then headed to Downpatrick to visit the grave of St. Patrick and the adjacent Cathedral. Paul was able to drive us up to a spot within metres of the grave, saving the walk up a steep hill. We then headed on to the Mountains of Mourne, driving by the Slieve Donard Hotel in Newcastle and stopping at the Percy French pub for a lovely lunch, best Halibut and chips and a pint of Guinness Zero tap. We drove by Dundrum Castle and then through the Mountains of Mourne, breathtaking dramatic scenery. We then worked our way back north, where Paul dropped us off back at our AirBnB in Newtownabbey. A very enjoyable day exploring my beautiful home county. Paul was a real joy to travel with, lots of learning about the history of the area, good discussions and and many laughs. You could easily spend hours at many of the places visited on the tour but then you would need 2-3 days. This was an excellent overview of the county and we would highly recommend Paul to take you around. Thanks Paul!
